Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We respect your time and are committed to honoring your appointments with us. We require 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Please remember that not all of your appointments can be in the late afternoon! Since many of our patients are students, after-school appointments need to be shared by everyone.
Insurance
Orthodontic insurance is a rider to your dental insurance plan. There is normally a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic treatment per person. There may also be a co-pay and an annual maximum on your policy. Most plans cover a dependant until age 19. Some insurance companies will process diagnostic records under your dental plan rather than under the orthodontic coverage.
If your insurance plan covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. We will submit claims in your behalf so that you may receive the orthodontic benefit available to you. Insurance policies vary and we will review yours to determine the appropriate course of action.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment your benefits change, please notify our office so we can assist you in obtaining any additional benefits available.
